This article describes TestPro Battery Operation, Capacity & Test Time. This information also applies to Network Service Assistant (NSA).
1. Battery Operation & LED Indicator
The LED indicator above the Power Button indicates Battery Charging Status when Power Adapter is connected.
On a Full Charge, TestPro can operate continuously on battery for 9 hrs. With 1 Autotest every minute, TestPro can complete over 500 Copper Certification Tests on a single charge.
2. Battery Safety
TestPro Battery Charging system employs Temperature Sensing, Thermal Regulation & Shutdown for safe operation of Battery Pack. During Normal Operation of TestPro battery charging may be suspended till the ambient temperature is in safe range for charging.
3. Battery % Indicator
The Battery % indicator may not always show 100% when fully charged. This is normal. TestPro Battery % indicator employs dynamic calibration and gives a more accurate indication of battery charge after a few cycles of Full Charge / Discharge.
4. Battery Life
The Battery Pack in TestPro is rated for a minimum of 350 Charge Discharge Cycles at which point the capacity reduces to 50% of its original capacity. For prolonged battery life, charging temperature should be within 0～+45℃ and discharge temperature should be within -20～+45℃.
5. Battery Replacement
The Battery Pack replacement should be done only by qualified Service Personnel. Battery Pack can be accessed for replacement by removing the rubber overmold and battery cover screw.
