Operational and Storage Temperature Range for TestPro and Network Service Assistant (NSA)

This article provides information for your TestPro CV100 Multifunction Cable Certifier and Network Service Assistant (NSA) related to environmental temperature ranges at which the equipment can be operated and stored.

Operational Temperature

The Operational Temperature range for TestPro and NSA is

-5ºC to +45ºC (+23ºF to +113ºF)

Storage Temperature

The Storage temperature range for TestPro and NSA is

-30ºC to +60ºC (-22ºF to +140ºF)

Battery Charging

Built-in protection will disable battery charging below 0ºC (+32ºF) and above +40ºC (+104ºF). Note: In this case, the unit may still be powered using the AC charging adapter but may not function normally if the temperature falls below/above operational range of -5ºC to +45ºC (+23ºF to +113ºF).

  • It is optimal to store any electronic equipment in an environment within the specified operational temperature range to avoid any temporary operational issues related to extreme temperatures.
  • When equipment has been stored in extreme temperatures outside the operational temperature range, operation of the equipment may be impacted. In this case, it is recommended to allow the temperature of the unit to return to the operational temperature range prior to use.
  • Battery capacity can also be reduced significantly when equipment is stored at extreme temperatures for long periods of time.
